In the realm of spiritual growth, women have gathered in circles for millennia, finding strength, wisdom, and connection.

At the heart of these gatherings lies the mandala, a symbol of deep spiritual significance across cultures. Mandalas are intricate designs representing the interconnectedness of all things in the universe and can symbolise the journey towards inner harmony through being at peace with all that is, especially the aspects of ourselves that we have learned to numb, hide or apologise for.  Mandalas serve as powerful tool for spiritual transformation, inviting us to explore both the conscious and unconscious.

When women gather in The Women’s Circle to share stories, wisdom, and support, every voice is honoured, fostering healing, empowerment and solidarity of the sisterhood.

Adorned with items from nature, mandalas remind us of our interconnectedness and unity with nature. And more than that, we see how nature with her wild chaos is an expression of the perfect imperfection in each of us. She gives permission to celebrate our raw, authentic wild side, rather than comparing ourselves through judgement and criticism for all that we are not.

The act of creating the mandala holds particular significance because when Women come together to create the  mandala, it becomes a collective ritual of symbolic significance. The unique qualities of the elements brought to create the mandala serve as a metaphor for the unique qualities each woman brings to the circle.  And as the mandala is collaboratively created, it serves as a celebration of the creative process of the group and women everywhere.  Rather than judging what is good or what is bad, instead the mandala becomes a rich artistic expression of texture, colour and depth.  Just like the women who sit around the mandala at the centre of the circle, each one enriches the group with her strengths and vulnerabilities, inspiring one another towards wholeness.

When you come to women’s circle, bring several items of significance that contribute your essence to the transformative power of mandala. In so doing, you embrace diversity and the interconnectedness of the women in the circle, the women who are not able to be present in the circle and all of humanity. Together, we honour the feminine and cultivate acceptance, love and wisdom.
