– And Why You Might See Me

Deciding to seek professional support can be overwhelming. With so many options available—counsellors, psychologists, coaches—how do you know which is right for you? Each professional brings a different lens to personal growth, healing, and transformation. The key is understanding what kind of support best aligns with your needs.

When to See a Counsellor

Counsellors provide a safe, supportive space for people facing life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, or a transition in life, counselling offers emotional support, practical strategies, and tools to help you navigate difficulties. Counsellors work with the present moment while exploring patterns, emotions, and behaviours that shape your experiences.

When to See a Psychologist

Psychologists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. If you are experiencing clinical depression, severe anxiety, trauma, or other significant psychological concerns, a psychologist can help with in-depth assessments and structured interventions. They often work with clients who need more specialised treatment for mental health disorders.  A GP can give you a referral to a Psychologist and under Medicare you are covered for ten sessions per year.

When to See a Coach

Coaching is for individuals who are looking to create meaningful change in their lives, set and achieve goals, and improve personal or professional performance. A coach helps you clarify your vision, overcome roadblocks, and stay accountable. Coaching can be especially useful when you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated, or in need of guidance to take action.

Why Work With Me?

Many clients come to see me when they have had a diagnosis and are disillusioned with traditional psychology methods and are looking for a more dynamic approach that can provide the best coaching, counselling and mindfulness has to offer.

My approach is different because I see the whole person, not a diagnosis. Many clients who seek my support are intelligent, capable, and well-educated—they know something in their life isn’t working, but they want solutions that are practical, effective, and grounded in deep self-awareness.

With a background in health coaching, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), counselling and my current studies in Hakomi psychotherapy, I integrate a holistic, mindful approach that allows clients to access their own wisdom. Rather than being the expert who provides all the answers, I act as a guide, helping you tune into what is really going on beneath the surface. Mindfulness is at the heart of my work, enabling you to slow down, notice patterns, and cultivate new ways of being.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional balance, or a deeper understanding of yourself, my work creates a space for real transformation—one that is grounded in self-awareness, choice, and gentle yet profound shifts. If you’re ready to move beyond limiting beliefs and into a more aligned, authentic life, I’d love to support you on your journey.
